The recorder is a palm size device that uses digital memory. When you make your recordings, each message automatically has a number associated with it. Just use the keypad to enter the number of the message you want to hear, and you can play it.  It's easy!

Recording a message:

1. Press the red REC button. You'll hear the words: "Next Message" and then you'll hear a number. This number will be assigned to the recording you are about to make.


2. Push and hold the red REC button. When the red LED light turns on, start recording. The recording session will last until you remove your finger from the button or until the red LED light turns off. The red LED light will blink during the last 4 seconds of the recording time.


3. Now press the green PLAY button to review the recording you just made.

Re-recording a message:
If you're not happy with your recording, simply make the recording again.

1. Press the red REC button. After hearing the number of the next message, use the keypad to select the two digit number of the message you want to re-record. (Use 01, 02, 03, etc.)


2. Sounds Easy will say the number you pressed and then say "Recorded" just to remind you that you have recorded this message already.


3. Now press and hold the red REC button and re-record your message.

Playing a message:
Press the green PLAY button and then use the keypad to select the two digit number of the message you want to hear. (01, 02, 03, ...) Sounds Easy will say the message number and then play it.

Using your messages:
Simply add the number of the message to an object, a photo, or any item that it describes. Use one of the number stickers that came with your kit or simply write the number with a pen or pencil.

Locking your Memories Card:
Each Memories Card includes a blue locking tab. When this tab is slid up to the locked position, recordings cannot be made to the card. Use this locking tab when you want to make sure your messages cannot be recorded over. Slide the tab to the unlocked position to make additional recordings.
